IG BSF Jammu FTR Sh N S JAMWAL on 5th July 2019 felicitatedwinners of State Level Football Championship to encourage and motivate them forfurther excellence. The other dignitaries present during the felicitation wereDIG/PSO Sh J C Singla, Administrator Sh Indraj Singh and other DIG’s.

State Level Let’s Play Football Competition Co- Branded withKhelo India Scheme was organised by Central Government’s Department of YouthServices and Sports from 11th June to 15th June 2019 at Astro Turf FootballGround TRC, Srinagar. Twenty Two teams from different districts participated inthe tournament. Teams were categorised as U-17 and U-19.

Great achievement of the school came with BSF SchoolFootball Team under District Jammu winning Bronze medal in U-17 Boys Category.The team was also awarded the cash prize of Rs 8000/- (Eight Thousand only). MrArjun Sharma escorted the team.

IG BSF Jammu FTR Sh N S Jamwal congratulated Principal Dr SK Shukla and his team Sh Amarjeet Singh, Sh Veerji Pandita Sh Arjun Sharma andMs Sangita Bhatt Sports Incharges for nurturing the students for variousevents. He stressed the importance of participating in such events for theoverall development of the child.He also awarded the cash prize of Rs 10,000/-(Ten thousand only) to the team for bringing laurels to the school.

Sh N S Jamwal, IG BSF Jammu FTR also felicitated the winnersof Summer Olympiad 2019 held at Jammu University which was organised byDistrict Youth Service and Sports in which Prakul won Gold medal in 3000 mtrsand Bronze in 400 mtrs. Sandeep bagged Silver in 200 mtrs and Bronze in 100mtrs.
